Christopher Ryan “Chris” Hardwick (born November 23, 1971) is a television host and multimedia entrepreneur. He graduated from Loyola High School, in Los Angeles, CA, in 1989, where he was a member of the school’s newspaper staff. Hardwick broke into show business in the early 1990s, making guest appearances on a number of television shows and serving as host for the MTV game shows Trashed and Singled Out. He has branched out further since then. A contributing writer for Wired magazine since 2007, Hardwick currently hosts AMC’s Talking Dead (the after-show discussion series for The Walking Dead) and the comedy-game show series @midnight with Chris Hardwick. He is also co-founder of Nerdist Industries (the digital division of Legendary Entertainment) and has hosted the Nerdist podcast since 2010. Other projects have included voice-over work for animated programs and video games and stand-up comedy.
