Joseph Clifford “Joe” Montana, Jr. (born June 11, 1956) is a former professional football player in the National Football League. He graduated with the 1974 class of Ringgold High School in Monongahela, Pennsylvania. In high school, Montana played on his school’s football, basketball, and baseball teams. He also sang in the school’s chorus and was elected Vice President of both his Junior and Senior classes. Montana is best known for his successful college career with Notre Dame leading into a successful professional career spent mostly with the San Francisco 49ers. During his time with the 49ers he lead the team to four Super Bowl victories and was a three time Super Bowl MVP and two time league MVP.
