Classmates Online and T-Online Launch Strategic Partnership in Germany; StayFriends, a Classmates Community, Integrated into T-Online Portal

RENTON, WA U.S.A. and DARMSTADT, GERMANY - Mar 18, 2004 - Classmates Online, Inc., a leader in community-based networking, through its wholly owned subsidiary Classmates International, Inc., and T-Online, whose portal reaches more than 50% of Germany (Nielsen//NetRatings, Jan. 2004), today jointly announced the launch of their strategic partnership. The StayFriends GmbH service, which makes it easy for people in Germany to reconnect and stay in touch with former school friends and acquaintances, is now accessible directly from T-Online's portal at http://stayfriends.t-online.de.

It was separately announced today that StayFriends GmbH is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Classmates International, Inc. "We are extremely pleased with the alliance we have forged to integrate our StayFriends service with T-Online," said Marco Menato, Vice President of International Operations for Classmates Online, Inc. "With their broad reach and leading position as the home page of choice for a majority of Germans, T-Online is well-positioned to help millions of users reconnect with those from important parts of their lives."

When combined with the extensive reach of the T-Online portal, StayFriends receives significant increased awareness in Germany from people who may wonder what happened to their old school friends with whom have lost touch.

With the jointly available service, people can register themselves free of charge and create a personal web page where they can post photos and text to let others know about their business success, personal life, hobbies and friends. A nominal membership fee, starting at 12 Euros per year, allows people to contact other members. StayFriends features an ever-growing offering of more than 400,000 listings and 40,000 schools. Its Class Computer feature helps members easily find people they have known by the place and year they graduated.
