Tina's Story
Life
Hello All: I hope to see you at the 20 year reunion next year. I've been back in Florida since 1999. After high school, I went to the University of South Florida to get a degree in Elementary Education. I only taught school, third grade, for three years, and then I went to work for a brokerage firm for two years. I had considered becoming a stock broker, but when my husband and I moved to Minnesota for fun in 1995, I got out of the business. We moved to Minnesota for no real good reason other than to see snow and be in a different environment. Well, we spent five years there. I worked as an advocate for Arts in Education at an Arts High School. Greg and I got married in MN in 1996, and then in March of 1997, I had my son Cole. He just turned 9. e moved right next door to Port St. Lucie. I lived there for four years, and I just bought a house in Vero last year. Cole is in third grade this year, and that's just amazing. My husband is a manager for Walgreens, and I am a Vocational Rehabilitation Supervisor. I spent my first two years back in FL as the Director of Admissions for one of the Keiser Schools, and that just wasn't my calling either, so I've been in this career now for four years. I started out as a counselor, and now I'm supervising four offices on the Treasure Coast. I've had a lot of great experiences doing different things. I still don't know what I want to exactly do when I grow up, but time will tell. I miss all of my high school friends, and I hope to get back in touch and find out how everyone is doing. I was so sorry to miss the reunion. I had just had my son, and couldn't come to FL. I'd love to hear from you.....Love, Tina
