Kathie's Story
Life
I disappeared from the scene as a sophmore back in '85. What happened is that I started working fulltime and moved into my own apartment. No, I did not have a baby! As of today, I still do not have any children (and I don't mind). When I was 19, I moved to Chicago, and I've been here more or less ever since.
I am a journalist and writer and have had 4 books published -- all teen pop biographies -- and have also been published in a variety of magazines including Publishers Weekly, OUT, The Advocate, an...Expand for more

I have traveled extensively (it's a huge passion of mine) and lived in Paris, France for a year.
I received my BA in Creative Writing from Columbia College and am currently the City Editor to a Chicago City Guide Series, and I have a Chicago Guidebook that I authored due out in April '06. I also review restaurants for a local alternative weekly, and cobble together a freelance writing career. This fall I return to school to pursue my MBA.
I live in a condo with my girlfriend and out three cats.
