Started out sweeping floors, decorating store windows, helping customers. Eventually, we had 4 stores. Atlantic City (starting in 1958), Margate, Northfield. and Hammonton. Parents came from New York City where they had 3 small record stores and move to Atlantic City in 1958 and built their home in nearby Absecon. Employer:Self Employed Sales Rep for 28 YearsPosition:Sales Rep of Recording Media - Audio, Video & ComputerDescription:Bid on government contracts for various companies. Had State Contracts (at one time) in 13 states and customers in more than 20 states. Sold blank cassettes, video tapes and computer disks. Worked alone and built a cleint base mostly by phone on my number 1-800-99Chuck. Worked as a rep and employee for A.I. Rosenthal Associates, Inc. for 18 years. Also was a rep for The Tape Company, Total Media, and Burlington Audio-Video before coming to work for the South Jersey Transportation Authority for the last 6 1/2 years.
