I joined the Army in April 1964. Did basic at Ft. Dix and A.I.T. at Ft. Leonard Wood,Mo. as a heavy const. mechanic, until Sept. Then I was sent to S.E. Asia until Oct. 1965. er since. Its great out here in God's country. I met my wife out here in 1969, got married in 1971, had three children and now have four grandkids and one more on the way. I retired early,age 63, in 2006. Now I chase Grandkids, take trips to visit family scattered all over the country,and am doing some remodeling inside the house
