Earl's Story

A long life rewritten. To start I went to Julia Ward Howe in 6th grade because we moved from Marshall Street to n. 10th Street. I had attended Ludlow Elementary through 5th grade. I made it through Wagner Jr. High and on to Olney. My grad class was 1961 but sadly I discovered FEMALES. Lost interest in school as a sophmore and majored in socializing not socialism. I did well in class but bored. Wasted time and sadly missed graduating. Finally after teachers and Mr. Karp threating me I graduated in January 63 taking my last 2 courses. later that year I heard about a new big thing...computers so I went to Peirce Jr College for associate degree in computer science, programming, and business mangaement graduating in the top 3. Worked for MA BELL for a month and was bored out of my mind so I went back to retail management at Krovettes for few years. Left that and opened a few small businesses. married a lovely girl from Northeast high and had a beautiful daughter. Several rocky years and divorce followed.Moved to Washington DC area and remarried a...Expand for more

Finally met wife #3 ex-detroit woman in Oct 2007. As we got closer to wedding my health headed so far south I saw icebergs (not related to any Goldbergs from Olney. So the time goes Oct 2007 married March 2008 needed heart kidney transplant waiting list Dec 2008 emergency removal of my stomach band Feb 2009 remove 95% prostate no cancer Aug 2009 received heart and kidney (now have 3) transplant My new wife has spent a lifetime with me going to, coming from, visiting in, the hospital. Now I am healthier and stronger that I have been in 30 years. She is a keeper and I work every day in keeping her happy and our marriage strong. I have seen people live and die and that has finaally made me a better person, husband, father, and soon a grandfather. Those many long lonely days in hospital was made easier thanks to Classmates.and facebook and helped me reconnect to so many old dear friends.

Happiness is....well you know because it just feels good.
We must stop this corporate takeover of our election process.
If you find any photo , right wing or not goes over the edge REPORT IT. Sometimes FB actually does something.
A note of love and caring to my Water Aerobics" group about life from a guy who has seen both sides.
