Life This is a new and updated profile--guess I'm dreading going out in the cold to head to the grocery store! I have lived in Aurora, Colorado (borders Denver) for the last 17 years now. Before that, I was a spouse of a military doc and moved every 2-3 years, but thoroughly enjoyed living in places like Stuttgart, Germany, Washington D.C., northern Maryland and San Antonio. After 21 years tho, I was ready to plant a tree and watch it grow. With all my moves I have worked just about every type job there is. Musical work, theater work, secretarial work (the Broncos job for 6 years being the most prestigious ) and also got my masters in Psych. Counseling and worked for the Red Cross as a grief and suicidal counselor. My son Ryan is now 26, got married this past summer and on April 7th became a daddy to a beautiful baby girl, Mariah Adele. We are quite proud of his efforts to become a responsible and caring young man and it shows in how he lovingly treats his new little girl. He is working hard to be a ethical business man while achieving success. My daughter Marleen (28) moved to NYC at the young age of 19, by herself, and I have to say, letting her go after her dreams was the hardest thing I ever did. She had a fairly successful musical career but discovered that it wasn't the life for her. She now has two children, Jacey Adele who is almost 6 and Jack Joshua who just turned 3, and she is married to a wonderful man who has become a minister. The...Expand for more
