School I wish ice hockey would have come along 5 years earlier. I think my athletic path would have been much different if it had. College Graduated from RMU with a Bachelors Degree in Information Sciences in May 2004. ***************Update*************** March 31, 2009. My employer did more cutbacks and this time I couldn't avoid the anvil. Currently looking for work again. :) ********Story Wizard Answers******** I always wanted to be a professional athlete when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a long shot idea. As it turns out, they were right. I like to play Second Life. Watch tv especially when the Pens are playing. Reading is also enjoyable. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is both of my grandfathers, because I miss the one I knew and never got to really know the other one because I was only 4 when he died.. Pens, Pirates, Steelers. Most Reality TV is stupid because, hmm how to put this delicately, IT'S NOT REALITY! (I want to watch a survivor where if you fall into the fire you die or survive because someone saves you with whatever they have laying around) I am obsessed with sports (especially hockey). What I have learned from being a parent (4 times over): I have learned patience. Tons and tons of patience. If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to charity, then spend the rest on investments, house and clothes. Well and I would buy season tickets to the Pens, Steelers, and maybe the Pirates (if Pens and Steelers seaso...Expand for more
n tickets were available to buy). Dorm Life: One of the greatest experiences of my entire college life. What happened to my first crush? She dumped me after her prom with me having 2 Pens tickets to celebrate her birthday because she really liked the Pens. Rangers/Pens playoffs 1996. Lemieux and Jagr both scored hat tricks and my friend that went with me in her place and I got to watch the Rangers shake hands as they exited our building and the playoffs for that year. My best friend would tell you I'm funny, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as I'm not sure what but something else because they usually don't get that I'm joking about most things in life. When I was younger I always liked dressing up as far as looking good but I never really liked it at the same time. Now I just want to be like Neil Patrick Harris character Barney and 'suit up!' I share my home with 5 other people, which I find very crowded in our small home (for now anyways). My biggest sports victory was not a victory at all. Playing in the first ever season of CAHS ice hockey, scoring the first goal and being involved with that team was the most awesome sports experience I have personally been involved with. You get one do-over. What do you do differently? I would train so much harder than I did the first time. In 10 years, I hope to be debt free (bad debt that is). I'm going to get there by following the Ramsey method (lol, such a simple method that I can't believe people make money teaching people the method). My oldest friend is Tobias Yuhouse of Jr. High East/Southmoreland/Greenburg Central Catholic. We met playing hockey in front of Siemens Warehouse in Everson and have been friends since. We clicked because we are bread-and-butter when it comes to hockey. Malkin has Sykora and Yuhouse has Pleva. We we're known as the connection because we created so many goals with the Allegheny Badgers and Men's League after amateurs. My first job was at my gram's farm, where I got paid dollar bills to help with the hay bailing. What I remember most about it is everytime I helped load the hay onto the wagon I got solid hits that day at baseball because my arms felt like they were on steroids.. I will never forget that one of my kindergarten classmates told us that we were allowed to play with the toys this one morning and we all did but got in trouble because we weren't supposed to play with the toys like that girl said we were allowed.
