Elizabeth's Story

Life I still live in Big "D". I have been married for 19 1/2 years to Ricky Fuentes (class of 82). We have three children. Dylan Blaine - 17, Hallie Marie - 12 1/2, & Joseph Sidney - 10. After high school, I went to SLU for awhile. Then I fell in love.... I worked for Wal-Mart in D.S. as a department manager for 10 years, until Joseph was born. Now, I'm a "stay-at-home" Mom no longer running Dylan around for his social life. He drives! Uh! Why on God's green earth we we allowed to drive at 15? He's 17 and I'm not gigy with that yet. For some reason he thinks I have not "been there & done that". HA! He is a Sr. at DSHS. It's scary, I ordered invations this week! Hallie is busy with tumbling, Beta Club. & Joseph stays busy playing football, basketball & is now joining the world of tournament baseball. It was so much fun the 7 yrs. that Dylan played. n just stay at home & run children all over the place. Three years ago I started my own business as a consultant for PartyLite Candles & Gifts. I also am the exec. director of Skyline Foundation, Inc. It's a chairatable gaming org. Volenteers work BINGO in D.S. and we make donations to their groups. My Daddy passed away in 2005 with Kidney cancer. I have now become a landlord too. He had 2 garden homes that he rented out and now I have his home too. My Me-Me is all I have left. She is 89 this year & runs circles around me. She still drives, bowls, and plays cards with the girls every Friday. I hope I have all that then. This is the big 40 year! I'm having trouble wrapping my brain around that & the fact that my oldest is a SR. in stinking high school. Really does seem like he is still that 5lb. 3oz. baby I had. Send me an e-mail.
