Amy Camacho:  

was certified as an official National Student Government Leader. Unfortunately, my parents didn't like Orlando, so we moved to Deltona and I transferred to Seminole Community College in Sanford, where I was once again deeply involved in Student Government and a team of students that held monthly retreats, workshops and mentoring sessions called the Leadership Challenge Team. During my time at SCC, I had the honor of meeting several politicians, including FL Governor Jeb Bush, during a scholarship rally in Tallahassee. I also was chosen for the Florida Community College Activities Association All-Academic Team. I graduated from SCC in May 2004, with an AA degree in Elementary Education. I graduated from the University of Central Florida in May 2007 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I intend to get my Master's Degree in the near future. Workplace When I moved to FL, I worked at Papa John's pizzeria for a few months, but quit because I was offered a higher office within my Student Government and time would conflict. When I moved to Deltona, I worked at a KFC and A&W restaurant for 2 years, but left because I was getting tired of the way managers were treating me, as if I was a doormat. I worked at Victoria's Secret at the Seminole Towne Center Mall in Sanford for a few months. I wound up going back to KFC and A&W, where I worked for 2 years until I got my first teaching job. I am currently a kindergarten teacher and I absolutely love it..
