Lynn's Story
I have three children..Erica 27, Steve 25 and Alyssa 22, and two stepsons..Joe 26, Jeremy 24. The past few years have been trying as I have had a few health issues including a battle with cancer(which luckily I won) in 2006, and am in process of getting my life back. It is not always easy but nothing worthwhile is. I graduated from Central Ct State where I recieved a degree in Psych and Social Work.
My passion is traveling, gardening and music.... and I am VERY patriotic. My heart is with our soldiers as my daughter was in the Army (she is no longer active duty thank God, tho she still works for them.) most difficult things we ever had to endure. We lost one of the best young men I have ever had the pleasure to meet and was taken from us way too soon. Please support our soldiers no matter what your political beliefs. My daughter says it well "If you won't stand behind our soldiers, feel free to stand in front of them".
My life quote is "when it rains, look for the rainbow". This has been tested way too many times for my liking... but I strive to keep it my quote. I have always been an optimist, and plan to keep it that way! Too many people want everything in the moment.. and that is not life. I have learned that the hard way. Always appreciate the little things and moments with the ones you love, as you never know when they will be taken from you.
