David (Marty)'s Story
Life
A short story that illustrates one of the most important realizations in my life:
Two men were arguing about a flag flapping in the wind. "It's the wind that is really moving," stated the first one. "No, it is the flag that is moving," contended the second. A Zen master, who happened to be walking by, overheard the debate and interrupted them. "Neither the flag nor the wind is moving," he said, "It is MIND that moves."

College
I later attended Goldenwest College in Huntington Beach. Even later in the 70's I attended the University of Maryland, European Campus in Neu Ulm, Germany and University of Munich. Since retiring from the Army in 1988 I have studied about 3 additional years of post graduate studies with various Government assignments. Learning never really ends though, does it?
