Life
This is Don Eggleston, class of 62. I'm in central coast of CA. After Stuart, spent years in Guatemala living with my parents. Graduated Miami U., Ohio. Peace Corps Honduras, Army (drafted but airborne, stationed in Panama, '70s hippie in SF and Berkeley, teaching credential Berkeley, subbed in East Oakland ghetto 2nd grade for future (and still) wife Mary, bilingual multiaged elementary teacher 11 yrs., 7 yrs continuation high school, two miserable years in administration, MA Environmental Ed., started own public continuation high school 8 yrs ago, expandi...Expand for more
ng next year to accomodate 50 students. New School (name of school) is my hobby as well as my job. (Response when people tell me I work too much.) We are on the cutting edge of what helps young people recover from addictions and emotional issues.
Two daughters, one (24) social worker in San Jose, CA working on MA, in long-term relationship with a good guy (finally!), has our 3 yr old granddaughter, who is the light of our lives! Second (21) in 3rd yr at UCSC (Santa Cruz, 20 minutes up the road), going to be an elementary teacher. Also involved with a good guy.
