Melanie's Story
It's hard to believe it has been over 20 years since I've sat with a small group of friends/classmates at LCHS.
I'm really bad about not attending any reunion functions.
Life has been good. Didn't go far. Glad to live close to family. Perhaps when we retire we'll move far enough away.
Married my high school sweetheart, John. We will celebrate 22 years in April of '09!
I have two daughters. They are my greatest blessing. Kara is at Purdue. Sydney is still at LCHS and attending vocational classes at Classic College of Beauty in LaPorte.
I've spent over twenty years working in the area of law. I just changed jobs to work at a small firm as a medical malpractice paralegal after 19...Expand for more
+ years at my prior firm. Here's to change!
I enjoy a fairly quiet daily life, in good weather I enjoy being outdoors working in the perennial garden beds and planting shrubs and trees and new flowers.
We enjoy vacationing in the Upper Peninsula of MI most. It is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place to be and you haven't seen a truly starry night until you've been up North! I would like to spend every evening under the stars listening to the sounds of the Loons on the lake.
I thought I would take some time to see if I could reconnect with some old LCHS friends. I've enjoyed the search to see who's where so far...
