Patti's Story
Life
After graduation I moved to Huntington Beach and in each sucessive move since it was further south into Orange County. After several years in Laguna Niguel, graduating from Law School and getting married, I moved with my family ( I have three kids.. boy girl boy) to Trabuco Canyon. During our seven years in the canyon we acquired two dogs and three horses. We were keeping the horses at a public stable by Cooks Corner. The kids and I were spending lots of time a the barn. It was great fun and good for the kids but we ultimatley decided that we would rather have the horses at home so we moved again. This time we moved to the inland empire, sounds awful, doesn't it?? , thought that I had fallen on really hard times.. How could I move that far away from the beach. That was until he came out and saw the place...
My animal family continues to grow we have more horses, chickens, and a cat.
Our property has been used as a refuge for animals that needed to get away from fire, at one point we had a camel, several horses, llamas, pot bellied pigs, goats and rabbits staying with us.
I miss being close to the beach but I love having space between me and my neighbors and having all the animals here. And all it takes is forty five minutes to get to the beach so we still go all the time.
My husband and kids ride dirt bikes so there are lots of desert trips too.
