Buddy Bain:  

I am known as Buddy or Bud Bain,but my frist name is Warren Arthur Bain. I am a twin. Bill my twin may have look alike but we were nere a like. My wife Cheryl of 47 years once said; they did not tell me this is what would happen when you got old! LOL Man do I know how she was feeling at that time. LOL. My Dad was a Marine most my young life, He was away,he was in two wars, He was a Master sargent over flight suport ,(he was the yongest Master Sargent in the history of the Marines.) so we lived in Marine housing. My dad lift the core to save his marriage and lost a grate income with only three years to go to retire. Family was more inportion to him! Most did not know but I worked a job, at 13 years old, weeknigths and week ends alot. that may have been a good thing. I liked having fun! Too much free time may have been bad for me. A old school friend said the reson the girls liked you was you were never afaid of anything. Yes I think that showed I was not very smart,I told her. The best years of my young life was when I lived in Downey. I went to Downey and Parmont schools. I almost died in 12 th grade, What I remember most was those classmates who came to see me then, I well never put into words what you all mean to me for being there for me at that time . So I did not end my high school in 1963, I had to do one more year so last year was 1964. After high School. I wanted to be a Marine becuse I decided if I had to go to war that was the way I would go. But my mother asked me not to she did not beleive in that war. I had seen her hurt enought by then, So I would not do that to her agan. So I became a National Guards man and stayed home and never went to war. At 23 I married my wife Cheryl Burch she had gone to Warren high and at the time wasw going to BYU in Utah,I Went into Nursing and Physical therapy. Later I became a veterinary...Expand for more
