My Spouse
Oh yes, I do have one!!! His name is Jim and he is a retired truck driver for the now defunct Consolidated Freightways trucking company. We have been together for 35 years now and are still going strong. Unfortunately I am now having to be more of a care giver to him since his emphasyma has gotten worse, but he is definitely holding his own and doing the best he can for us. He cooks!!! Yea!!
My Pets
I had to give up my birds due to my husband's allergy to their "dust" - Cockatiels are very "dusty" critters. I have "rescued" a Mini Dachshund..he is 3 1/2 yrs. old and a pure delight to have. He is an AKC registered Brindle coloration....soooo cute!! His name is Shorty!! Shorty is now 8 and still a pure delight to have under foot. He will...Expand for more
soon be joined by a new "rescue" mini doxie...her name is Bridget and is a "special needs" 3 yr old. She developed canine epilepsy after her 3rd litter of puppies and the owners didn't feel they could continue her care and still breed the other 7 dogs they have. So instead of a puppy I volunteered to take on the care of Bridget and won't have to go through all the house breaking and crate training. (method to my madness!) I guess I should have been a vet!!!
My Kids
My son's name is Warner. He is married with 2 daughters of his own. He lives in Massachusettes and is a Line Supervisor for a Cable company. I also have a step-daughter who lives, with her husband, in California. They both work for the Race Tracks and enjoy their horses (only 4 footed grandkids there!)
