Curtis's Story
"Retired" and living on five beautiful acres in the Upper Applegate Valley outside of Jacksonville, OR with my wife, Peggy. Our property backs up to national forest in the back and the Applegate River in the front. We are at about 2000 feet and the climate here is very close to that of Placerville, with a little more rain, thank goodness.

ed a book about my experiences as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Liberia, West Africa: "The Bush Devil Ate Sam." It's available on Amazon and a number of other Internet sites. Presently I am writing a book on Burning Man.
Beyond that, Peggy and I wander a lot and spoil grandkids. (Two years ago we traveled up the Alaska Highway with Bob and Linda Bray.) We also enjoy backpacking and kayaking. Plus we read a lot. :) That's pretty much it.
