Tammi's Story

Life As some of my classmates may know, I was born with a birth defect that leaves you with numerous health problems, and in 1988 I had a life changing surgery, one of the many that I have had. I went on to tech school and learned the basics for office work, and I worked for H & R Block for about 7 years. At that time I got my certification in 1990 for nursing assistance. r a month later. I got married in 2009. We delayed the wedding due to my health. We now are enjoying living in our new home that we have been living in for almost 8 years now. My husband had hip surgery in October two years ago to fix hip pain he has been in for over 4 years at Mayo in Minnesota and now is no longer in pain. Our prayers have been answered! Now we are dealing with his kidney stones and have to have one removed next month after having to cancel the surgery this month due to an infection he is dealing with now.
