Life
Hi Brentwood HS!
I ended up marrying Don Duffy after he got back from Viet Nam. We lived in Central Islip for four years where we had two girls in 1971 and 1975, then bought a house in Holbrook where we lived for four years. Then things finally fell apart between us and I moved up to the Binghamton area, where I attended Harpur College.

I graduated in 1985 with a BA in English (Literature & Rhetoric). I worked as a reporter then an editor until 1993. In 1990 I met Patrick, who I eventually married. We had a daughter in 1991. We moved around for about five years before settling in Maryland, where I worked at the Circuit Court.

I loved the legal community and the intricacies of the legal language and even considered going back to school, again, to become a lawyer. Before that could happen though, I found myself single again and on September 1, 2001, I moved to Rochester, NY, where I still live. My younges...Expand for more
t daughter came with me for a while but was homesick for Maryland so I let her go 'home.'
I am still trying to find my footing here, but am back into legal work and love it! Is it to late to think about going back to school again?
For those of you who know me, I want to let you know I quit smoking (finally!) in February 2001. My first grandchild, a girl, was born in March 2001. The boys (different Moms) were born in February 2003 and December 2003. My Dad died in 1983. My younger sister Linda died this past February.
I am not where I expected to be at this time in my life, but I have certainly enjoyed many parts of the getting here. I belong to a few writing groups, still love singing, and get over to the ocean as often as possible. When I can't get there I visit Lake Ontario, which is about 2 miles from my home, and plan on spending a weekend in TOronto very shortly.
It would be great to hear from any and all of you.
