Angela's Story
Life
Hey to all my classmates from WHS! After graduation, I went to SJSN and studied to become a nurse. Graduated in 1987 and have worked in surgery and am now an oncology certified nurse. I am the charge nurse of the oncology unit in Saint John. Married in 1988 and have two children. My son is 15 and is in french immersion in high school, grade 9 . Our daughter is 13 and is in grade 7,also in french immersion. I had been ill for a few years and was not able to work , but was able to return to my job in 2001. I am now back in University, once again, to obtain my BN. I love going to school. I spend most of my time with my family, helping out at their school and their activities.I study alot and love outdoor activities.
Would love to hear from any of you. I still get to Woodstock to visit family, so maybe we'll meet again one day!
God bless you all.
Angela
P.S. Would love to here from you all.

d my US oncology certification in 1995 and my Canadian certification in oncology in 1999. I am presently attending University to obtain my degree, then I will go on for my master's.
Workplace
After I graduated from SJSN I worked on a general surgery floor, as a general duty nurse for 4 1/2 years. it was a great experience, but I got burned out . I decided to change my focus and transferred to an oncology unit. I loved this work and obtained my American oncology certification in 1995. When this certification became avaliable in canada, I also studied and passed the Canadian exam. I am now charge nurse of the unit here in the hospital in Saint John,. I love my job and shifts. I work a normal workweek now, as opposed to shift work a few years ago. I am happy in my job and I do not plan to change my focus for a very long while, if ever. Unfortunatly I have come across a number of people from Woodstock. This is difficult, but sometimes these folks feel better seeing a familiar face in a strange place.
