Christine's Story
Life
My husband and I met in 1992, got married in 1995, bought our home in Epping in 1996. My son, Garrett, was born on November 16, 1999. On April 11, 2001 he became a big brother to Gabrielle. I work for an Oncology(cancer)-Hematology(blood disorders) practice in Hooksett, NH. I am working full time in the Billing Department.
Workplace
I started out at my company after my grandfather was a patient there. He had cancer and passed away in August 1995. I was between jobs and saw an add for a receptionist type position. When I applied for the job, during the interview was told that there was another position opening up that they think I would be good at. It was a Medical Records position...Expand for more
, that was not my first choice. Well, I was offered the job that same week. I took it. Then, not quite 4 years later, they created a brand new position at the company, a patient check in coordinator. This position I got to create from scratch. I loved that. Then almost 2 years later when I was on maternity leave with my daughter I got a call from the office manager saying that a position opened in the billing dept, which I had told her I would love to get into. I applied and the day that I came back from Maternity leave, I was offered the position. I have been doing that since. I love my job and I love the company that I work for. It has it's ups and downs, more ups tho, but what job doesn't.
