Kim's Story
I am Vice President of Claims for a Insurance Third Party Administrator. I work for a company in Florida, and spend a lot of time traveling between Ft. Worth and Tampa. I travel a lot around the US and occasionally to the UK. I do a lot of public speaking and train insurance adjusters.
I moved back to Fort Worth in 2020. While I loved living on the lake, I met someone (Mike) and decided to move back to the city. But my ultimate goal is to find a place in the country to make my final home. I like being in the city, but prefer the quiet the country has to offer.
I travel to Florida on company business a lot, and. I have a lot of great friends there. I love the beaches, the bars and the sushi! There's nothing like a warm day, a clean beach and a cold Corona with lime and Volcano Rolls! I have good friends that live in Cozumel and Cancun. Needless to say, I try to visit as often as I can. Great scuba diving water!
I like to scuba dive. Not big on snow skiing (TOO COLD and I fall a lot). I country western dance and swing danc...Expand for more
e several times a week. I like getting out of the house and staying active. I love riding on the back of the Harley and site seeing with Mike. He is an adventure in himself, but going anywhere with him makes life great!.
I am a widow. I have two wonderful daughters that are my pride and joy, and three grandchildren that I hope I am properly spoiling!. I love my kids and my family, and while I travel a lot and my time at home is limited, I love every moment I get to spend with them.
As I've grown older, I've learned that while my high school years may not have been kind to me or some of the best years of my life, (due partially to my mother being terminally ill and my sister and I having to help take are of her), I've become a stong and confident woman from the harsh reality of my youth. I've learned a lot about myself. I'm no longer shy, withdrawn and quiet. I am proud of who I am, what I've become and what I can do. I guess it just goes to show that even the most akward geeks can make a very good life for themselves.
