Martha's Story
Hard to know where to start. My journey through life is probsbly a little boring but I have been very fortunate. After Central Christian I went to D'Youville College in Buffalo where I got a BSN and became a community Health Nurse. I also met my husband there and married shortly after graduation.
We ended up in Virginia, thanks to Uncle Sam, and had our first child while Paul was in the service. I continued to work as a nurse until we had our second one and stayed home through the third. I am very fortunate to have three great kids...Expand for more
and at this point one and a half grands. My husband died about 3 years ago and I have been blest to have found a wonderful man to support me for however long we have.
I now run the business that my huIband and I started about 14 years ago and also work as a Personal Trainer. I love working with people in a way that empowers them to take control of their abilities to keep moving. Many of my clients have disablities or challenges and I am so proud of the work that they are doing to keep moving in spite of what they have to deal with.
