Joanne Frank:  

Life After graduation my first job in the industry was Illustrating how to sew at Butterick and Vogue Pattern company along with another A&D alumni Anna Casalino ('65). I sometimes have dreams of being back in Classes at A&D and riding up and down those escalators. I remained in New York and became a Fashion Designer on Seventh Ave. for mostly Blouse and Ladies Sportswear houses in the 525 Building for 10 years (Gregory & Goldberg, Miss H. Blouse, Camilla Blouse & Jamboree Blouse and Sptswr.) I lived in Astoria Queens and then moved to Manhattan for a few years on East 72nd Street. I married in 1978 to a childhood friend from Astoria. We were reunited through friends 20 years later after not seeing him since he was 9 years old. We have 2 children and enjoy living upstate. My oldest (Katy)is 21 (1979)and is graduating this May from the University of Buffalo (Psyc & Communications ) and would like to go into Advertising. My Son Bill is 17 (1983)and will be Graduating from Mohonasen High (2001)and is going to Oneonta to major in Art, music and teaching.
