Melissa's Story
Most everyone who knew me from school would not believe that I've been married since Oct 2006 and have a beautiful daughter (born Dec 2006). I was in the Army National Guard for 16 years and was a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003-2004 (stationed in Southern Iraq). The hardest thing about OIF (besides being half way around the world) was having to come home when my mother was dying and then having to return to Iraq after she had past away.

to Iraq in 2005 to work (International Zone, Baghdad Iraq) and I met my husband while on a mini vacation in Kuwait. It was a chance meeting that I will never forget.
I am currently a homemaker, but I'm working on getting a cake decorating business going. We are living in Texarkana AR (where my husband is from) but plan on moving back east in about five years or so. We lived in Concord NC for a short time, but found that it wasn't what we were looking for.
