Kathie's Story
Life
I've been a lot of places since Bassick High School. Though I didn't graduate with my class, (married my senior year - divorced a year and a half later with one son) I went on to get my GED and an Associate Degree many years later. I married Ken Kunkel, from Trumbull, in 1973. We have two more sons, and all three now out of the house. Ken was in the Air Force for 26 years, and we lived in: Texas (3 cities), North Dakota, Bitburg Germany, South Carolina, Okinawa Japan, the Panhandle of FL (Mary Esther), and now are settled in Winter Have...Expand for more
n, FL. We enjoy monthly trips to Epcot and Disney World to "people-watch", as well as trips to the Keys, and around our area. We frequently visit Alabama to see our 3 grandchildren. All-in-all, life has been good to me. There have been ups and downs, but with 29 years of marriage to a guy I still WANT to be with, 3 sons who are self-sufficient, not in jail, and not on drugs, I'd say I've done well!
