here, but for some reason 9 out of 10 people mistake me for someone I am not. I do like to go out and enjoy time with my friends, but most of the time I'm sitting at home with no makeup on in my pajamas. Yes, I am a "metal" chick, but I am also quite the girly girl. It's taken me a long time to become who I am today and I've gone through hell making it here. I'm not perfect. Not even close. I make a conscious effort to be a good person and I take pride in the fact that I have been through so much in my life that I am more often than not, able to help others with the lessons I have learned. I have two sons... Jeremy is 14, and Jordan is 10... and when I am with them, I am complete. They are hands-down THE most awesome gift I've ever received and I am awestruck and humbled that I am lucky enough to be their Mother. They do not live with me. I am not a single Mother... I am a Mother that loves her children more than myself... Enough to accept that their Father is able to provide a better, more stable life for them and I have sacrificed a lot of my heart so that they can enjoy more fulfilling lives. Music and everything to do with music is what keeps me (somewhat) sane. It can do everything from heal me when I'm broken, to make me happy when I'm sad. It is my therapy, my means for meditation, my valium, and much, much more. Words aren't enough to express how much I need music EVERY DAY in my life. It keeps me alive. The best days and memories of my life are the ones that I'm going to see one of my favorite bands live in concert. I will travel wherever, whenever if it means I'm going to get to see (one of) my favorite bands play. I love checking out local shows, and I do so VERY often. Most of my bestest friends are involved in the local music scene and I support them every chance I get. It NEVER gets old. <3 I absolutely LOVE to laugh! Funny people are my most FAVORITE kinds of people! I love art and going to museums, I LOVE the sky... both at night and during the day. I can look at the night sky for hours and never get bored of it. I enjoy the company of intelligent people that can keep up with real conversation, and I also enjoy silence. I love to read... all kinds of stuff, but I totally get off on reading about HUMANS... their emotions, functions, dysfunctions, disorders, etc. I love listening to how people think. And why. I love the summertime... can't stand winter (except when it's snowing). I love the mountains. I love waterfalls. I like to sit and listen to water rushing through a stream. I love the sound that leaves make when there is a gentle breeze making them dance to their own song. I love flowers (especially the yummy smelly kinds!), my favorites are red roses and stargazer lilies. I love the sound of the rain falling outside. I love how peaceful, quiet and bright everything gets when it snows. I like taking walks alone AND with company, but three's a crowd when it comes to that. *If you send me a friend request, don't be a weirdo "lurker".
