Keith's Story
UPDATED on 11.29.23. (Original comments still appear, as they were written in 2012.)
Life
My Spouse -
I was director of a church camp. She came as a counselor. Married in 1974. Still madly in love!
UPDATE: Still true!
My Kids -
Both are strong Christians and involved in ministry - one a missionary in east Asia, the other a youth pastor - excited about sharing Christ with others.
UPDATE: Still true - PTL! - One is still a missionary with CRU (formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ) but now at Ball State University in Muncie IN, and the other is a pastor at a large church locally. And their incredible spouses are Spirit-filled Christ-followers!
My Grandkids -
Two wonderful teenagers joined our family in Dec, 2010, and another beautiful granddaughter was born on Thanksgiving Day, 2011. Grandkids are a delight!!!
UPDATE: The "teenagers" are now in their mid-twenties and both are married. The newborn just turned twelve, and now has 3 other siblings, as well as 3 cousins, all between the ages of four and nine. Family gatherings are a delightful madhouse!
Favorite quote -
" Always remember, and never forget - NRIMITYRWJC"
(No relationship is more important than YOUR relationship with Jesus Christ!)
Nothing to UPDATE here - I hope you know Him!
My Job -
Computer helpdesk specialist for a hospital
UPDATE: retired at the end of 2018, just shy of 70.

n -
I love (and love spending time with) my family and working with teenagers in our church youth group. But mostly - I value my relationship with Jesus!
UPDATE: Covid interrupted my work with youth, but I spend lots of time with my grands!
My Plans -
With the economy, I may never retire! Ugh! But I have been on 9 mission trips to Haiti as well as ones to Guatemala and to Russia. Hope to continue working with youth until at least age 75!
UPDATE: I have now been on 26 mission trips since my first in 2001. In addition to 4 additional trips to Haiti and 1 more to Guatemala, I've added Paraguay, Belize, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Cote d'Ivoire, Bangladesh, China, Philippines, and Thailand to my travels, with hopes for more in '24!
High School Memories -
1) Got kicked out of Mr Butterfield's Chemistry class, as a Junior, for putting Sulphuric Acid on a penny (after being specifically instructed NOT to!) The yellow cloud may have been caustic, but it sure was pretty! (Much prettier, by far, was one particular redhead in that class!)
2) Drama, drama, drama! So many plays - so much fun!
Nothing to UPDATE here.
My regrets -
That I no longer have my 1967 Colonel yearbook! It disappeared many years ago - anyone have one from any of the years 1965 through 1969? I would LOVE to get copies of those years'.
UPDATE: I have found none! I may break down and actually order a reprint.
