Elizabeth's Story
I married a wonderful man named Patrick in November, 2006. After a fairy tale wedding in Austin and an amazing honeymoon in Costa Rica, we purchased our dream home outside of Austin. I am practicing law and looking forward to starting our family.
The road to this point in my life was long and eventful. After Skyline, I attended UT Austin where I graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. I spent several years as a TV Reporter and Fill-Anchor (and even some time as a Photographer) in West and South Texas before moving into Public Relations. I was a Media Spokesperson for the McAllen Independent School District until one day, I decided to stop fooling around, pursue my dream, and go to law school.

I moved to Chicago in 2000 and attended Northwestern University School of Law. I graduated in 2003 and have been practicing law ever since. I have worked in both the public and private sectors, but have now settled into the public sector/family law areas. I work for the Dept. of Family and Protective Services and enjoy advocating for victims who are too little, or too scared, to speak for themselves.
I have traveled extensively around the world and have been to England, France, Italy, South Africa, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Canada. My husband and I are planning a trip to Spain and Portugal in 2008.
We are looking forward to having children, but for now we enjoy spoiling our big chocolate lab named Brownie.
