Penny's Story
Hi everyone!
To basically catch you up on what I've been doing for the past 40+years. . .
I started teaching dance full time right after high school and started with Dallas Summer Musicals in 1966. Did several seasons with them, indcluding becomming assistant choreographer and dance captain. I've done several National Tours and spent a little over 5 years in NYC working on Broadway.
I was a singal parent (having divorced Darryl McGuire in 1972) for 10 years. I married my second (and current) husband, Nelson Wilson, in 1982. We moved back to the Dallas area in 1984. ...Expand for more
I've been with Barney the Dinosaur since the very beginning (20 years) and continue to perform, direct and choreograph. I've known what I wanted to do since I was 3 years old and the good Lord has blessed me with the opportunities to use the talent He gave me all my life.
I have a son (almost 37) and he has two kids. I also have a daughter (25), who, as my husband and even our son say, is a second Penny.
Lost of bumps along the way but an extrememly blessed and happy life!!
