It was okay at first but soon sucked even more than Red Bank did, it was preppie city and even more narrow-minded. YES, I eventually left school altogether and got my GED (Good Enough Degree). NO, I wasn't ever on anything illegal and NO I didn't get pregnant. YES, I did run off with a well known area miscreant but NO we didn't get married. I dumped his sorry butt in 1996 and moved to NYC where I got myself a studio apt in the East Village. Hooked up there with an old friend, the first guy I'd ever taken an interest in, someone I met in 1987 while hanging out in Washington Square park with Laurie Costa and Harley from the CroMags.
