Shannon's Story
Life
We still live in GA, my husband Tim Craft of fifteen years, our two sons, Hunter and Colton, 11 and 8. Our 'mutt' Tiger Lily, and our rat terrier, Tinkerbelle. We bought our first house four and a half years ago, and plan to stay here. Tim has just retired from the Air Force.
I taught in our church school for two years, and am now going back to being a stay at home mom.
School
If you are looking at this from the Beebe page, I left Beebe in 1979, but still remember many people there. If you're looking at this from the West Laurens page, I married Tim Craft class of '87.
My biggest crush was probably Tommy Kubiako...it was so big, Michelle Keahey called it a smash. He was two years older than I, and lived in the same neighborhood.
I was probably most inspired by Mrs. Jane Buford, she taught me Algebra and dance (outside school.)
Would I do high school again? Not on your life, or mine. It was not the most fun, that of course was because o...Expand for more
f my choice of romantic interest. Not Tommy, he was a nice guy though oblivious to my 'smash.'
My most fun times were with Mari Smith and Anna Schibrowski. Mari and I had matching Monte Carlos.
I was quite sheltered from parties in high school, but I do remember one party when we 'borrowed' John Nelson's house AFTER he had moved out and before Kris Hunter moved in...Mr. Knight came and broke that one up. EEEEK!! And the one at Deanna Stone's house on graduation night...there are others, but my kids might read this one day! And they don't know that side of me, PRAISE THE LORD!! I am a different person now.
NO, I definitely wouldn't do high school again.
College
I fianlly graduated from UAPB in 1994. I had tried to major in rummy and Rum at UALR...but that didn't work out for me.
Workplace
I was 34 before I had my first real job. I taught music at a Christian school. It was fun, but I'd rather be at home!
Military
