David's Story
Life
After High School, I worked for one year before joining the US Army. I served my three year tour of duty in Augsburg, Germany as a cryptanalytic (code breaking) specialist. When I got out of the service, I went to the Maryland Drafting Institute for Engineering Drafting. After graduating in 1978, I joined a consulting engineering firm where I worked until 1993, when we moved to Raleigh, NC. I was married to my wife Kathie in 1982. In 2001 I began training in the TaeKwonDo martial art; in August 2006 I received my 1st Dan Black Belt, and continue to train toward my 2nd Dan. I spend the majority of my free time between teaching TaeKwonDo and cruising the back roads of North Carolina on my 2006 Suzuki Boulevard 800 motorcycle. I have a four year old grandson and a three year old grand-daughter.
