Ann's Story

Life - 2009 I currently live in Torrance, California which is in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. I have been married to my second husband, Bernie, for 33 years. I have six children and four grandchildren - so far. I just graduated in May, 2009 with my Master's degree in Special Education, and I have a teaching credential in that subject as well. I worked in education for 13 years, but am not working this year. I am looking for other ways to use my experience in specia...Expand for more
l ed. - counseling? - as an advocate in the court system? ....who knows!? I really enjoy reading, mostly non-fiction. I am currently learning how to speak Spanish (useful in California)and enjoy sewing. I've lived on the west coast since 1963 - mostly in northern and southern California, but also in Washington and Alaska. I'm currently on Facebook and have found it a great way to keep in touch with family members and friends, especially those who live in other states.
