Jennifer's Story
Life
Hmmm... where to start. After seven years at university I heard the real world calling, so now I'm cleaning the world's water supply by working at GE Water in Oakville. Which is a great job, because I get to travel. My favourite trip so far was to New Zealand. I got to climb a volcano (and go inside a lava tube). I also got to watch the NZ All Blacks play the Australian Wallibies for the Bledsoe Cup (think Stanley cup of rugby).
Outside of work, I still play a lot of sports and decided to rejoin the Mississauga Canoe Club in the Masters Program. I also coach a few dragon boat teams, which is a lot of fun.
I'm living in Guelph now while I work on my PhD part-time at the university.
No husband or kids to report. I'm still having too much fun being single.
I'm still in close contact with a few of you, but I'd love to hear from the rest.
College

g Port Credit I went to McMaster and got a B.Eng&Scty degree in Mechanical engineering. The Society (Scty) part is a program unique to Mac- it takes 5 years, and along with looking at the impact of engineering on society (environmental, social, economical & ethics) you can do a minor in whatever you want - I picked environmental geography. I liked the Society program so much I was president of the student council for it in my final year. Which isn't at all like the Jennifer from PCSS. But then I've been "Buffy" (so nicknamed by my housemates) for a number of years now. :) I then spent two years obtaining a Masters in engineering and discovering I love to teach. And now, after a few years out working I'm also doing my PhD part time at the University of Guelph (and still working full time). I figured after this much education I might as well go for it and become Dr. Pawloski.
