Roberta's Story
Life
I've been living in St. Louis for the past 8 years. I got married to Jon Oda in 9/2006 and we now have 2 fuzzy ferret children. I am sadly no longer actively playing taiko, though I see my old group do their stuff once in a while. Jon and I have be traveling though (Belize, Thailand, and most recently Panama). We've been getting into scuba diving too. If any of you have any favorite scuba sites, let me know!
School

I majored in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at UCLA; I regret that I didn't take more ethnic dance and music classes back then. After taking a year off from school, I went to Washington University.
Workplace
I did an internship at St. John's Mercy Medical Center (St. Louis). I'm finishing up radiology residency at Washington University in St. Louis. I'll be heading to Thomas Jefferson University next year (2008-2009) for a body MR fellowship.
