Lois's Story
Life
After I graduated, I enlisted in the Air Force. I served almost 3 years before I married a fellow airman, Jerry Bouchard. We have 2 children, David and Jennifer. We have one granddaughter, Brittany. She is 7 years old now. I got my BA from the University of Connecticut and my MS from the Hartford Graduate Center. I worked for an aerospace company, Hamilton Standard, for almost 16 years as a computer programmer before accepting a job as a web programmer at CIGNA insurance. When I look at our senior pictures in the "Lasso" from 1966, I can't believe how old we all looked! We looked like we were 40 when we were 18. We all looked a lot younger at our 10-year reunion. I had fun in high school, but I sure fretted a lot about grades and studying. I really do think I should have lightened up. I had some really good friends: Linda Crawford, Hannah Jennings, Rosalie Wamack. I had a couple of boyfriends too, but I wish I hadn't been so shy about boys.
