Michael's Story
Life
Born in Norristown, near Philadelphia; lived in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, then Moorestown and Willingboro, New Jersey. In 1976 we moved to Tucson, Arizona, where I went to high school and university. Then I went to UCLA in Los Angeles, after which I spent a summer in Sacramento and some time in Portland, Oregon. Workplace
I'm an alphabetician - an expert in the world's writing systems, and I work to encode them all in ISO/IEC 10646 and the Unicode Standard. See evertype.com. I also typeset books in Irish for a publishing house here in Ireland.
