Jason's Story
Workplace
After moving to Buffalo, NY in 1999, I started back to school enrolling into the University of Buffalo. I worked with The United Way of Buffalo and Erie County developing and implementing action plans to generate and secure resources.
I left that job to follow "a girl" out in Cali. After that fell through I moved back to Buffalo and landed the job I have now.
I am the Chief of Staff for a Erie County Legislator. It is great, I do primarily Media relations(i.e. pre...Expand for more
ss releases, setting up press conferences, relaying quotes for all types of media). I am also responsible for overlooking all correspondence for constituent response. I have 3 staff members and a couple of interns who I manage.
I am active in several community coalitions aiding them as a representative in the community. Its a busy job but very rewarding. I hope to take it to another level some day....president....no...but possibly a representative of some sort in local or state gov't.
