Carissa's Story
Hello,
Most of you will remember me as Carissa Moe or Cori Moe. I grew up in Fargo, ND. Graduated HS June 1st, 1991. In spring of 1992 I went to Clearfield Jon Corps Center in Clearfield, UT. There I studied Health Occupations and passed my CNA certification with a 98% on the toughest test in the country at that time. I also received my Home Health Aid certification. I left there and went to Denver, CO. I married James Avalos, whom I met in Job Corps. I had two children, Destiny and Kamaya. James and I divorced and I moved back to Fargo, ND. often as when can get together. In 2000 I gave birth to a little girl, Bryanna. I was a biological surrogate. This means I am biologically her mother, but I carried her for another family. I still have contact with her. I then went to college. I atteneded Aaker's Business College (now Rasmussen). I graguated in 2002 with an Associate's Degree in Business Management. I have work a few jobs thanks to that degree. I have also recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Due to this I have been unable to work since Aug of 2009. On July 28th, 2012 I married Steve Haugen. He has two boys, Justin & Jacob, from a previous relationship. We have enjoyed our time together.
