Susan's Story
Life
It is time for me to update my bio. My four children have grown over the years. They are 14, 13, 9, and 6. I can't believe I have 2 teenagers. I have been able to find a few friends through classmates and I am still keeping in touch. It is nice since I live so far away from everyone. My life is great. I have everything I ever wanted, just not where I wanted it (Georgia). I hope all my old friends are just as happy and are having the time of their lives.
As for me, I have found my own passion...traveling! I think I am addicted to it. My husband and I took or first cruise in 2003. It took me 3 years to get him to do anything!!! We went to the Bahamas,Domican Republic, and St Thomas(my favorite). The following year we went cruising again, this time to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. uerto Rico, St. Thomas, and St. Marten. I just can't seem to get enough of these places. Last year (2006) a friend and I went to Cancun for a week, loved it!!! Now in December of 2007 we are going to take the kids on another cruise. I am excited! You will have to check up with me every now and then. I am sure I will go more places and soon.
As for what I have done with my life. I am now an EMT with Perry Port Salem Rescue. I have been an EMT for 6 years and I love it. I have seen many things and I think that has helped me not to take life for granted. I plan on going back to school soon and I have an interest in becoming a Surgical Technician. I spent some time in the O.R. room and I found out that I loved to help out. In one day I was able to see a baby be delivered by C-section, a uterus sling done, a hysterectomy, and an appendix removed. It was great. So, I am saving my money and that will be the next chapter of my life.
