Daniel's Story
Life
Greetings, I am proud to be a renewed citizen of Edina. My wife and I were lucky enough to buy the house I grew up in from my Mom. It has needed extensive work and, well, it's amazing what happens to a house when elderly people live in homes and don't keep up on maintenance.
We are in the middle (as of October of 2005) of adding a third garage stall with an expanded master bath and walk in closet on the second floor. The addition costs what our first house did back in 1987. This is partly due to the 3 most dreaded phrases in the English language. " While ...Expand for more
were at it", "As long as we..." and "we might as well..." As in: As long as we have to do some much drywall work on the wall, we might as well just re-sheetrock the whole thing, as while were at it, we can re-insulate the wall.
My kids are now in fourth grade (Lizzie age 9 as I write this, in October of 2005) at Cornelia and Sixth Grade (Alex is 11) at Southview.
I don't remember the class rooms being that small at Southview. They must have shrunk.
