Life August, 2007 As we approach Marina High School's 40th Reunion, I suppose our list of bios could be a place to say, look how well I have done! If I do not want to be part of that club, I could tell all, or, not offer any personal information. So, I will tread in the middle. What can I say after that introduction? My own bio, if I were thorough, would read like a roller-coaster ride replete with triumph and tragedy, success and failure, wins and losses. In that respect, my story is similar to anyone else our age, especially those of us who were affected by the turbulent 60s and 70s. After we graduated from Marina High School, Bob and I married and settled into suburban Huntington Beach to raise a family. We brought two hefty sons into the world and purchased a house, which we refurbished. I started an organic garden, made jams and jellies, and worked for House of Fabrics and Standard Brands Paints. Bob worked for Lucky Stores and went to Orange Coast College to become a computer whiz. The times, though, they were a-changing, and so were we. We took different roads and explored different territories. This is where I segue across time to avoid unpleasant details.
