Kim's Story

Life well, i've done some research and noticed that this site isn't exactly littered with bios, and what there are aren't exactly informative. so i've decided to come clean and start a trend. after hs i went to sunyalbany for 2 very un-dedicated years. as i see it now i'd kill any of my daughters if they were as stupid as i was, which they may try to be but i'm not sure they can achieve those monumental heights. at any rate, at that point in a brilliant patriotic fervor i decided to join the army and see the world!!! i did criss-cross the us, but never got out of the country as i journeyed from alabama to monterey, ca to ft. campbell, ky to ft. meade, md. i married a guy who was in the special forces at ft. bragg. to quote the chaplain down there, "there's a reason why they're here, and it's not because they're normal." but i ignored all the problems as much as possible and stayed married for more than 20 years, had 3 great daughters, a few great dogs, some very interesting experiences, made some great friends, and learned a lot about life- some of which i wish i never knew. during that time i got a real estate license i never really used, i became a travel agent but never really did that either, i pierced ears, worked for the ywca, taught volunteer russian for the elementary school for 5 years, was a 4-h leader for 6 years, made ballet costumes for the ballet schools and the ballet theatre of annapolis for 13 years, was an om facilitator and i'm sure a million other things i've forgotten. i moved my kids, my dog, my rabbits and all of our stuff in our mini-van when my husband and i seperated and we went to ny york for a year and then we went down to florida. spent 6 years there before coming back to ny to be an active member of my family! i haven't finished college, i haven't cured any form of cancer, and i haven't writ...Expand for more
