Amanda's Story
Life
A year after graduation, Michael and I got married. We have been married for 9 years this July and we have a beatiful 3 year old son named Brett. He is absolutley the best thing I have ever done in my life. He is so happy and he brings out the best in me. We have a house in Olive Branch and we can't wait for Brett's first day at school. I work as a freight broker in Bartlett and I hate the drive to work. I have been in trucking for 10 years now and I am ready for a change.
Workplace
My first job after graduation was for a small freight for...Expand for more
warding company in Memphis. I worked there for 2 and a half years. I left there to take what I thought was a sales job at another freight company, only to get there and do the same thing I was doing before. Stayed there a year before returning to my first job. And then 6 years ago, I came to FTSI. Where I started out as a freight broker and have worked my way up to office manager. It's been a great living and somewhat exciting at times. Hate the long drive to Bartlett and the long hours, but it helps pay for all the extras in life. Not bad at all.
