Sally's Story
Life
My family is still wondering after 27 years when I am coming home. I am not sure, I have been out of Ballard for that long (over half my life). I guess they are, I will always call it home.
The house I was raised in is not owned by my family any longer. I go by and still wish it was ours. I now realize what a cool place it was. I mean really, doesn't everyone wake up in the morning and see the water and the snowcapped mountains? (riiiiiight)
I have a son that is the greatest. He is 26, married for almost 3 years and mellow as the day is long. Thanks to him I now have a pesky little puppy to keep m...Expand for more
e company (and so I will not bug him for grandkids as much because I am too busy).
I spend alot of time camping in the Cascades, going to car races and gardening (or as my dad used to call it...putterin' 'round the yard). I am attending school to get my degree in business office management, will be done by spring quarter. I bead like a mad woman. Keeps me out of trouble.....idle hands and all that.....I used to bowl and held a 198 average but have some hand problems now so no pro bowling for me.
