Elizabeth's Story
Life
My life is very simple, I have no high demands. I have been with the love of my life for 27 years. We do almost everything together and most of all he is fighting the battle of his life right now, Cancer. I have and will continue to be by his side and give him all of the support he needs. That is what love is all about. Each day that he wakes, I am grateful that I still have him. The doctors had informed us that Steve has approx. 2-4 weeks of life left. Steve is very strong and is fighting like hell to live. I have never seen anyone fight as much as he has. He is and always will be the love of my life. My husband, Steve passed away at home on March 29, 2010. He fought to the very last breath. I miss him so very much and think of him every second of each day. I took care of him while he was ill and was by his side the entire time, as I promised I would be.
My Kids
We have a 26 year old daughter, Shannon, her husband Mike and two wonderful granddaughters, Sierra E. and Aeriana Marie. We had just found out that we will be grandparents again in June of 2010! (Twin BOYS) Our twin grandsons were born on April 29,2010 their names ...Expand for more
are Xavier Michael and Alijah Jackson, how Pop-Pop and Nanny are so proud! I think Steve had something to do with their birth.
My Job
I am currently not working.
MY INSPIRATION
I know people always say their Dad and I have to also. My Dad was so driven, stubborn and smart, not that he is'nt now but he was such a hard worker and a very thorough man. Very confident in himself and knew exactly what he was doing and what he wanted. He learned alot from reading. He is and always will be MY INSPIRATION! Also, being part of a very large family, my Mom and Dad did the best that they could and I don't ever remember being upset that I did'nt get what my friends had. I am the same now as I was then. I don't have the need for all the finer things in life and enjoy my life the way it is now, thanks Mom and Dad for not turning me out to be one of those spoiled rotten kids who has to have everything to be somebody!
My husband, Steve is also my inspiration, Never give up hope. He taught me how to love and respect people and to be there for them no matter what! He had helped so many people and I know that his memory will never die. I love you, Babe!
